Module 1: Basic Digital Literacy Skills – Becoming Autonomous Users

Module 1 of this course is addressed at beginners wishing to learn how to use a personal computer and how to surf on Internet autonomously, correctly and safely. As Digital Health Literacy is at the intersection of the ICT and the health domain, it felt necessary to start this course with a brief, yet focused, excursus on those digital skills which are essential and preparatory for all learners in order to be able to follow the course. Contents are presented step by step through video tutorials and exercises in a simple way. 

Learners are invited to personalise the Module, therefore they may decide to skip Units whose content they already feel confident in, although it is suggested to follow all the Units as some useful additional tips may come up.
